Obama Stubbornly Refuses To Give 2016 Endorsement: “I was literally inaugurated four days ago. And you’re talking about elections four years from now.”

During a joint “60 Minutes” interview Sunday night, President Obama lavished praise on outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Obviously, interviewer Steve Kroft couldn’t just let this moment pass without asking the President whether his kind words for Clinton came with a “date of expiration.” Wink, wink. You know what Steve’s talking about here, people.

But President Obama isn’t quite ready to formally endorse a candidate for the 2016 presidential race just yet:

You know, Steve, I got to tell you … you guys in the press are incorrigible. I was literally inaugurated four days ago. And you’re talking about elections four years from now.

In related news, this is the first time since 1947 that anyone has used the term “incorrigible” in a non-ironic manner.
