Mike Huckabee Outraged At Lack Of Women In Obama Administration After Spending Past 4 Years Bashing Every Single Woman In Obama’s Administration

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee addressed an issue on his radio talk show recently that has no doubt been plaguing the hearts of many of his fellow white male Evangelical  Tea Party Republicans recently: Why hasn’t President Obama selected more minorities and women for his administration?

Now a lot of those females who supported Barack Obama are scratching their heads, and they’re saying, ‘Whoa! How come there is so much testosterone in the Obama Cabinet and so little estrogen?’ Because if you look around, all of these high-powered appointments that he is making are all white guys.

Huckabee went on to claim that Obama simply used promises of  “contraceptives and free abortions” to get women to vote for him, but he “never promised women would have seats of significance at the table of power.” (To be fair, we totally did vote for Obama just for the free abortions, because they’re super fun. Pregnant or not, we get one every Sunday right before our mani-pedi.)

The only thing is, for someone who is so outraged at the lack of women in Obama’s administration, Huckabee sure does hate every single woman who has ever had any role whatsoever in President Obama’s administration.

For instance, Huckabee and his favorite author Edward Klein have previously complained that Valerie Jarrett, who has long served as Obama’s closest senior advisor, holds too much power in the White House, and that “buzzsaw” Jarrett and Michelle Obama are basically allowed to run the country.

Oh, let’s see what else our Magical Hypocrisy-Finding Google Machine comes up with.  Aaaaand…shazam!!  Huckabee also previously claimed that Hillary Clinton must have been lying when she took responsibility for the Benghazi incident, because it was totally implausible to Huckabee that a Secretary of State could possibly “wear the pants – or the pantsuit” when it came to dealing with international relations.

Also, Huckabee was outraged at Obama’s appointment of “Maria” Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. Also, he didn’t like Obama’s appointment of Elena Kegan to the Supreme Court.  Also he doesn’t like Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano.  Also no love for UN Ambassador Susan Rice.  Also not a fan of  HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Also… you know what, just go to Google yourself and type in “Mike Huckabee and [insert name of any female member of the Obama administration].”

      Thanks! Good catch.

Couldn't it just be that comments can be found that Huckabee disparages every appointment, male or female, that Obama has made?

(Albeit, the "pants/pantsuit" comment was certainly sexist.)

I think part of the hypocrisy is that the list of female appointees that Huckabee has disparage is so long to make it clear that Obama has indeed appointed many women.

This is especially pointed when you compare his comment that Valerie Jarrett holds "too much power" to his comment that "all of these high-powered appointments that he is making are all white guys."

        I think you're both right.

To Uh: Yes, he pretty much criticizes everything every Democrat does, male or female.

To Zach: You're right, I made the list to demonstrate how many women of power there actually are in the Obama administration. Yes, if you look at JUST his 2012 appointments it skews toward men, but if you look JUST at his Supreme Court nominees, they skew female, so you need to look at the bigger picture which demonstrates no bias whatsoever

And also, the more obvious point is just that, come on, since when has Huckabee ever been concerned about this issue before? It's clearly disingenuous and partisan.
