Tea Party darling Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said Thursday that we shouldn’t even bother trying to raise taxes on the wealthy, because they’re just going to use all their money to dodge the new taxes anyway:
The billionaires and millionaires that are going to be impacted by higher rates, they can afford to hire the best lawyers, lobbyists and accountants in America to figure out how not to pay those higher rates. The people that are going to get stuck by that bill are the small businesses, the partnerships, the S corporations, that cannot hire the lawyers to get them out of it.
Meanwhile, we’ll also be repealing speed limits for people with Ferraris because they can drive fast enough to get away, and murder will no longer be illegal because the real killers will just murder the jury anyway.

It's OK… we'll just keep voting in law makers to close loop holes. We can keep going until you guys do the right thing by your country people… all of them and not just your millionaire friends.

I'm actually surprised this isn't getting more coverage. It's just insane.

Trying to find an plug-in right now that will force commenters to log in and create and account. That's probably the only way to really cut out the spam entirely.

We should just not have any laws at all for the rich. They'll just hire lawyers and get away with stuff anyway. Besides, they are the job creators, how are they going to create jobs if they're in jail!?

Guybeaux, how are they going to create jobs by hoarding all their money in Swiss bank accounts and over in the Cayman Islands? Tax the bastards BIG-TIME!!
