AP Editor: Michele Bachmann Tells So Many Lies the AP Has To Impose an Upper “Quota” On Fact-Checking Her
Have you ever thought to yourself, “My God, the press is just constantly ripping into Michele Bachmann. She couldn’t possibly be telling as many lies as these fact-checkers are reporting. You know, I bet she’s actually pretty normal in real life.”

During a panel discussion about fact-checking at the National Press Club on Wednesday, Jim Drinkard, the Associated Press (AP) editor who oversees the wire service’s fact-checking work, said that the AP actually had to limit the number of lies they reported during the Republican debates:
We had to have a self-imposed Michele Bachmann quota in some of those debates.
After the session, Drinkard said that there wasn’t an actual numerical quota on Bachmann at the AP. It’s just that they literally could not keep pace with the number of lies she told and were worried that if the AP had gone back and vetted all of her claims that seemed a bit dubious, the result would “overload” the debate story.
Drinkard, who is apparently fond of massive understatements, added, “Often she was just more prone to statements that just didn’t add up.”
And now, just for your entertainment, here are some of Bachmann’s greatest hits:

- She claimed that Huma Abedin, the deputy chief of staff to Hillary Clinton and wife of disgraced former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner, should be investigated for having terrorist ties. - During a 2006 debate, Bachmann said, “There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design.”
- When Melissa Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer, Bachmann suggested she might want to take this as a sign from God to repent from her lesbianism: “This may be an opportunity for her now to be open to some spiritual things, now that she is suffering with that physical disease. She is a lesbian.”
- This: “I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.”
- Terri Schiavo “was healthy. She had brain damage — there was brain damage, there was no question. But from a health point of view, she was not terminally ill.”
- She recently claimed Barack Obama does not understand what the common man is going through because he is too wealthy, unlike Mitt Romney.
Whew, okay, we’re going to stop there. Drinkard’s right: this gets exhausting after a while.

The guy who has a lot to hide and is willing to spend big bucks to keep it hidden. The guy who won't commit to agreements with Russia until after the election because spilling the beans now would be a poison pill for him. The guy who has surrounded himself with cabinet members and czars who are either socialist, communist, incompetent, or some combination of the three. The woman certainly could learn from Barack and his band of kool-aid drinking idiots.

There either are hundreds who have done this or not (in this case not). Another one is claiming Obama is disconnected because he makes more money then Mitt which is just flat wrong. My last note is while she is entitled to her opinions we the people should be informed about them so we can say this person is a loon and get her out of office.
