NY Republican’s Use Of the Word “Whore” To Describe Opponent Is the Least Bizarre, Pornographic Thing About This Political Ad

The Committee to Save the Erie County Republican Party has published a provocative political mailer slamming New York State Senator Mark Grisanti (R) for his vote in favor of same-sex marriage last year. Grisanti was one of a handful of New York Republicans who was initially undecided on the issue but eventually changed his vote in favor of marriage equality at the last minute.

As you can see, in the first ad, one Abercrombie and Fitch male model is helpfully assisting another male model in retrieving a lost contact lens from his belly button. In the second ad, the man thanks him by guiding him through a completely platonic session of naked yoga.

Politico is reporting that the ”piece, which appears as an attachment as if it’s a direct mail piece but so far hasn’t been reported as landing in inboxes, says it was paid for by the Committee to Save the Erie County Republican Party.  A Google search revealed nothing about the committee, and it wasn’t immediately clear who is sponsoring the group.”

However, Buzzfeed is now reporting that the person responsible for the ad may be Matthew Ricchiazzi, a fellow Republican who ran a failed campaign for Buffalo mayor. Ricchiazzi had a documented animus toward Grisanti, and Twitter posts back in August mention that Ricchiazzi was preparing a “pornographic mailer.”

If Ricchiazzi is indeed responsible for the virulently anti-gay ad, this would make the already bizarre story even more interesting. Why? You already know why. Wait for it, wait for it…

In conceding his failed mayoral run in a letter three days ago, the seemingly homophobic Ricchiazzi stated that he was “bisexual.”

But in fact, Ricchiazzi may not be homophobic at all. He described himself in the recent letter as “openly bisexual” and has previously expressed support for LGBT issues, calling himself  ”fiscally conservative, socially liberal.”  So, if he is behind the attack, it seems Ricchiazzi is simply… a provocateur? An opportunist? Completely insane? We’re not really sure.

If you enjoyed this gay porn/confused Republican article, perhaps this is the ideal place to avertise your business or political campaign. Please consider buying an advertisement on The Daily Dolt so we can quit our day job and provide even more hot twink political ad coverage.

I'd say some truly rotten republican is using him for cover. It wouldn't be the first time – after all, in that party, it's every man for himself.

Yeah, if they're trying to show how awful gay sex is, they probably could have found some less appealing models to demonstrate their point.

Then again, if this Ricchiazzi guy is behind the ads, I really have no idea what his motivation is.

What is it about Republican pols from the Buffalo area? Remember Carl Paladino, Andrew Cuomo's opponent in the last NY gubernatorial race AND discerning distributor of bestiality porno….

Haha, sorry that comment took a while to be approved. I have spam controls set to block anything with the word "porno" in it. Probably not a good idea for an article about…porno.
